Marvisa is one of the largest stone extraction in Portugal, began its activity in 1970 in Vila Viçosa.

Throughout its activity to Marvisa uses the most modern equipment in the extraction of various types of stone in the Alentejo region by minimizing the maximum environmental risks inherent in the activity.

Stones Portugal are some of the most sought after stones in the world around, these being used for different purposes, the Marvisa stones can be used in construction, decoration or used in the manufacture of parts and special equipment.

The Marvisa operates two quarries which holds its extraction in Portugal to meet the needs of its customers, has a stone processing factory with a total of 4,335 m2 of covered area.
